How do I convert SVG to JPG without losing image quality?

Upload your SVG file and the converter applies format-aware quality optimization for JPG. For lossless JPG (PNG, TIFF, BMP) every pixel is preserved; for lossy JPG (JPG, WebP) you can tune the quality factor before download. An SVG stores shapes as mathematical paths and text as text, not as pixels, so it is a document rather than a raster grid. JPG is lossy: the image is transformed with a DCT, quantised, and entropy-coded, with a quality knob controlling how much is discarded.
How much quality will I lose going from SVG to JPG?

At quality 80-85 the difference is invisible at normal viewing distance and the file typically drops by 60-80%. The catch is that it is one-way: re-saving the JPG repeatedly compounds the artefacts each time. Keep the SVG as the master and regenerate the JPG from it whenever you need a new size. SVG renders perfectly at any size, stays editable, is searchable and diffable as plain text, and is usually a fraction of the size of an equivalent PNG.
How does text inside the SVG behave?

In an SVG, text is real text — selectable, searchable and re-styleable, and it needs the font to be available or embedded to render as intended. Converting away from SVG turns that text into pixels or into document text depending on the target; converting towards SVG only produces real text if the source had a text layer to begin with.
Does SVG to JPG conversion preserve transparency?

Transparency survives when JPG is PNG, WebP, TIFF, GIF, or SVG. Converting to JPG flattens the alpha channel against a white background. If you need transparency in the result, target a transparency-aware JPG instead of JPG=JPG. JPG is the JPEG standard from 1992, served under the .jpg, .jpeg and .jfif extensions alike, and after three decades it is still the format most cameras and most websites use for photographs.
What about EXIF metadata when converting SVG to JPG?

In most conversions, camera EXIF fields such as the camera model and GPS position are not carried into the JPG. There is no setting on this page to keep or remove metadata, so check the result with a metadata viewer if it matters.
Can I batch-convert many SVG files to JPG at once?

What resolution will my JPG file have?

Default is 1:1 — your JPG keeps the pixel dimensions of the source SVG. If you need to resize as part of the conversion, use /resize-image/ after conversion, or chain it with the /image-resize/ utility.
Are my SVG files private during conversion?
