Upload the VOB and open the options. Frame Extraction has two modes: Single Frame saves one BMP from the second you enter (for example 1, 5 or 10.5), and All Frames saves every frame of the video as a BMP image. There is no every-Nth-frame or one-per-second mode. HDR footage is not tone-mapped: each frame is converted from the VOB as it is decoded, so a frame from an HDR VOB can look flat or washed out as a BMP. Standard (SDR) video keeps its colours.
It depends on the size and length of the file. Small documents and images are usually ready quickly. Long videos take the longest, because most video conversions re-encode every frame.
One at a time. Single Frame takes one time in seconds (for example 83 for 1:23) and saves that frame as a BMP. There is no field for a list of times, so run the conversion again for each extra timestamp.
Yes. Uploaded VOB files are processed on our own conversion servers, no person reviews them, and they are never shared. The upload and the converted BMP are both deleted automatically about 24 hours after the conversion, which leaves time to download the result. See /privacy/ for the full policy.
