Frame Extraction has two modes: Single Frame saves one TIFF from the second you enter (for example 1, 5 or 10.5), and All Frames saves every frame of the video as a TIFF image. Yes, with All Frames in the Frame Extraction option, but watch the count: one minute of 30 fps video gives 1,800 TIFF images. For a single still, choose Single Frame and enter the second you want instead.
HDR footage is not tone-mapped: each frame is converted from the WebM as it is decoded, so a frame from an HDR WebM can look flat or washed out as a TIFF. Standard (SDR) video keeps its colours.

It depends on the size and length of the file. Small documents and images are usually ready quickly. Long videos take the longest, because most video conversions re-encode every frame.

One at a time. Single Frame takes one time in seconds (for example 83 for 1:23) and saves that frame as a TIFF. There is no field for a list of times, so run the conversion again for each extra timestamp.

Yes. Uploaded WebM files are processed on our own conversion servers, no person reviews them, and they are never shared.
